Frost Dragons stand out as one of the most relaxed yet profitable combat activities. Despite lacking a Slayer level requirement, they can be assigned by Neive, Duradel, or Kuradel. With a dragon hunter wand and Tome of Fire, players can exploit their 100% fire weakness for RuneScape gold impressive results-up to 125,000 Magic XP per hour and 37,000 Slayer XP when on task. Their drops remain consistently valuable, making them worth prioritizing.
Prayer Training Considerations
Two new bone types-Strikeworm bones and Frosted Dragon bones-were added alongside recent updates. While testing showed Strikeworm bones could reach 210,000 Prayer XP per hour at a gilded altar, they are currently inefficient due to poor GP-to-XP value. Frosted Dragon bones are even more expensive and not recommended unless prices stabilize. For now, bonecrusher usage remains the most practical option during Frost Dragon slayer tasks.
Runecrafting Improvements
A small but impactful improvement to Astral Runecrafting comes from the Sailing teleport-to-boat spell at level 76 Sailing. This significantly reduces travel time compared to Moonclan Teleport. With full Raiments of the Eye and daeyalt essence, players can expect roughly 90,000 Runecrafting XP per hour while producing around 23,000 Astral runes, translating to over 1.3 million GP per hour.
Construction Alternatives
Mahogany hull parts offer a less click-intensive alternative to Mahogany Homes. Crafted at Port Khazard using Sailing workbenches, this method yields around 300,000 Construction XP per hour at roughly 10 GP per XP. While more expensive than Mythical Capes, it's far easier on the wrists and still cheaper than traditional mahogany furniture.
Lower-tier hull parts like teak are viable budget options, but higher-end woods such as camphor, ironwood, and rosewood are not recommended due to poor cost efficiency.
New Herblore Potions
Several new potions were added, including Super Fishing, Super Hunter, Extreme Energy, Extended Stamina, and Armadyl Brews. These potions offer competitive experience rates but remain expensive due to ingredient scarcity. The Armadyl Brew stands out for its combat utility, boosting Ranged while healing. However, until prices stabilize, these potions are better tested than mass-produced for 99 Herblore.
Thieving at Port Roberts
One of the most surprising additions is stall thieving at Port Roberts. These stalls technically have infinite stock but rotate guard patrols. By stealing twice per stall and following guard movement, players can earn 120,000 Thieving XP per hour, scaling up to 250,000 XP per hour at level 87 using cannonball and ore stalls. For how low-effort it is, this method rivals Pyramid Plunder and blackjacking.
Crafting and Spinning
Processing hemp and cotton at spinning wheels remains a strong Crafting option. Hemp yarn yields up to 95,000 XP per hour and roughly 800k GP, while cotton provides 140,000 XP per hour with moderate profit. While prices fluctuate, this method offers a balanced mix of OSRS GP experience and income.
If you're a shotgun specialist, the Oregon State playbook is arguably the best. While it lacks strong under-center options, it excels in shotgun with CUT 26 Coins formations like Wing Pair, Y-Off Trio Close, Bunch A Strong, and Bunch Strong Nasty.
Y-Off Trio Close – Flood: This play is simple but highly effective. Focus on the B and A receivers first; if they're covered, check the X receiver. Flood concepts stretch the defense horizontally and create open spaces.
Smash Return: Works opposite the Flood concept. Read the tight end first for an easy underneath option, then look to the B receiver or X for additional man and zone-beating opportunities.
Pair these passing concepts with inside zone runs to keep your defense balanced and unpredictable. The Oregon State playbook is excellent for players who thrive on a fast-paced, versatile shotgun offense.
Final Thoughts
Selecting the right playbook is essential in CFB26. The Two-Lane playbook provides flexibility and overpowered shotgun options, Michigan gives a balanced pro-style approach, Ohio State shines in goal-line and single-back situations, and Oregon State dominates the shotgun passing game.
Master these playbooks, learn the key plays, and mix in runs to keep your opponent guessing. By combining strategic playcalling with the right formations, you can maximize yardage, dominate drives, and consistently win games.
By studying these playbooks and understanding how to exploit defenses, you'll be halfway to mastering College Football 26 and turning your offense into an unstoppable force. A large number of cheap CUT 26 Coins can also be very helpful.
If you're grinding Dynasty mode in College Football 26 and feel like your coach progression is lagging behind your league mates, this hidden XP method can completely change the game. It's one of those mechanics that technically exists in the system-but works in a way it probably shouldn't. Used correctly, it lets you generate massive coach XP during the offseason by exploiting drafted players who are still upgradeable.
This isn't a one-time exploit. It's a repeatable strategy that snowballs harder the deeper you get into a Dynasty. A large number of CUT 26 Coins can also be very helpful.
Let's break down exactly how it works, what you need, and why it's so powerful.
What You Need Before This Works
This method revolves around Talent Developer and specific active perks. The good news? These are perks you should already be targeting anyway.
Required Setup
Talent Developer (Tier 1 minimum)
Pay It Forward (Tier 1)
This grants coach XP when your players are drafted, scaling by draft round.
Active Perk: Motivator or Architect
You don't need anything obscure or glitchy outside of normal Dynasty progression. If the method isn't working for you, it usually means you haven't unlocked Talent Developer yet.
Why is a Talent Developer Mandatory
Talent Developer is easily the most important coaching package in CFB 26. Once active, it turns your program into CUT Coins a true progression factory.
Your first target is the Pattern House, located at the northern tip of ARC Raiders Coins the Dam Battlegrounds map. Make your way north until you reach the outer wall near the map's boundary.
The Pattern House itself is easy to identify once you're close. You don't need to enter the building-simply walk up to the wall beside the entrance and use your spray to mark it. Once tagged, this portion of the quest is complete.
This area is generally calm, especially compared to the central Dam Battlegrounds locations. Still, if you plan to explore or loot inside afterward, keep your weapon ready just in case another player wanders through.
Mark the White Lookout Tower (Blue Gate)
Next, head to the Blue Gate map to find the white lookout tower. This structure sits near the center of the map and stands out clearly due to its bright color and height.
Approach the tower and tag one of its walls to complete this objective. The marking spot is accessible from ground level, so no climbing or special tools are required.
Be aware that this tower sits relatively close to the Overlook Airshaft extraction point and the Checkpoint point of interest. Because of that, player traffic can be higher here than you might expect. If your lobbies tend to be aggressive, be prepared to defend yourself or disengage quickly after marking the tower.
Mark the South Trench Tower (Spaceport)
The third building you need to mark is the South Trench Tower, located in the northern section of the Spaceport map. The tower is tall and industrial-looking, making it easy to spot once you're in the right area.
You don't need to go inside the tower to complete this objective. Simply approach one of the supporting walls at the base and spray it to mark the structure.
Both the South Trench Tower and the North Trench Tower across from it require keycards to enter. Because of this, players with keys often visit the area and tend to be cautious-or outright hostile-toward anyone lingering nearby. Mark the wall quickly and move on if you notice activity around the towers.
Mark the Building with the Mural (Buried City)
The final objective takes place on the Buried City map. Head to the eastern side of the map to find the building with the mural.
This one is the simplest of the four. Walk straight up to the mural-covered wall and spray it to complete the objective. There's no special positioning required, and the quest should update immediately.
The area is usually quiet, making it a low-risk location. However, the nearby Galleria can occasionally attract raiders looking for a fight or loot. If someone does show up, you can either avoid the confrontation or deal with it and grab whatever they drop for ARCR Coins your trouble.
