About Me
PayByPlateMa is an electronic toll collection system used on MassDOT roadways. It provides an efficient and convenient way for drivers to pay their tolls without having to stop at toll booths. The system uses photographic or video images of vehicles and license plates to either post toll transactions to a valid Registered Pay By Plate MA account or for obtaining the name and address of registered vehicle owners from the RMV/DMV for purposes of issuing an invoice to collect tolls and related fees.
