  One Orbi router and Orbi satellite can cover up to 5,000 square feet (about 465 square meters). Should you need more space covered, you can connect up to three satellites to your router and cover nearly 10,000 square feet (or around 929 square meters).

  Hello,
  In simple terms, the Cable Orbi is basically a combination of the normal Orbi router and a Netgear DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem. ... It's also compatible with plenty of other cable networks like Optimum, of course, and it will deliver the same or better performance than any modem your ISP might provide.

  In our performance tests, the Netgear Orbi proved just as speedy as the Nest and Eero on a reasonably fast internet connection of 300 megabits per second. And in our range tests, the new Orbi beat the Nest and Eero outright with demonstrably better signal strength, particularly for multistory homes.

  Use Own Router with FiOS ONT Ethernet. ... Eliminating the coaxial cable means you can use almost any router with FiOS internet instead of the one they force you to rent from them. Simply have Verizon turn the FiOS ONT Ethernet port on. Thiswill allow you to have internet without coaxial in your house.

  To install your NETGEAR wireless router using your wireless device:

  1. Connect the Ethernet cable from your DSL or cable modem to the Internet port of your NETGEAR router.
  2. Turn on your DSL or cable modem and wait for the lights to become solid.
  3. Turn on your NETGEAR router and wait for the LEDs to become stable.
