Separate entity: A company must be got an identity of its own, as the law recognizes the independent status of the organization. This means the company would not be responsible for the actions of its members.
Incorporation: another feature is incorporation, the company comes into existences the day it is registered or incorporated which distinguishes it from the partnership.
Diffused ownership: the ownership of the company is distributed over a large number of persons.
Transferability of Shares: the company’s capital is contributed by the members and divided into shares. The public company employees are free to transfer the shares without any restrictions to anyone else.
