adidas introduced sneaker technology
For more than a year, DJ has been lacing up adidas ultra boost shoe. The 360Wrap technology creates stability in the midfoot area while offering a contemporary take on a traditional saddle design. The other shoe popular on Tour is the Powerband BOA Boost, which features Boost midsole cushioning to improve walking comfort and energy return, new competition last features a slightly rounded toe shape and wider forefoot for increased overall volume and supreme stability. Comfort is also boosted thanks to the bounce foam in the forefoot for longer lasting cushioning and the fitfoam PU sockliner provides great cushioning, support, and comfort.
Here is a brand new colorway of the adidas pure boost, a women’s exclusive runner from the three stripes. Having a similar look to the Ultra Boost X (which is also a women’s exclusive silhouette) the Pure Boost Xpose comes constructed out of a mesh upper that is meant to respond to the way a woman’s foot moves as she runs. adidas created the shoe with a supportive arch under the foot, but above the midsole, that is meant to adapt to your foot from push-off to footstrike. And of course we can’t forget about that full-length Boost midsole. This colorway above comes done in combination of Tactile Green, Energy Blue, and Blue Night, with a blue outsole finishing things off.
In February 2013, adidas introduced sneaker technology that has come to define an era.adidas energy boost first found a home in the shoes of high-performance runners — providing, well, a boost to their stride. At first, its soft cushioning system system and responsive ride seemed contradictory for many runners who may have preferred more minimal “barefoot” tooling, but the material’s high-energy return quickly found a devoted following. Boost was initially reserved for the best, but the potential outside the performance sect was obvious — an innovation in a sneaker industry dominated by Nike and a new lifeline for adidas, which had been steadily falling further behind the Swoosh.
After a debut in early 2013 and a prolonged episode of explosive growth in 2015/2016, adidas response 3 cushioning is widely regarded as the go-to option for comfortable running/casual shoes. In fact, it has converted some Nike loyalists to the Ultra Boost and NMD models, a shift that has reflected in adidas’ upward trend and a 24-month period of stagnation on Nike’s end. The most recent Q1 numbers prove that as well; adidas U.S. athlete footwear sales grew 85% in Q1 2017, whereas Nike dropped in the single digits, and it’s precisely the running/training categories where the German brand is excelling.
The adidas Superstar first launched
The adidas superstar online first launched in 1969 as a basketball sneaker. In the nearly 50 years since then, the Superstar’s become a go-to silhouette for style and comfort. With the advancement of adidas’ BOOST technology, a breakthrough in cushioning and responsiveness, the Three Stripes have placed themselves at the forefront of sneaker technology. They’re bringing that tech to the Superstar.Made out of premium elk leather in monochrome black and white colorways, the new Superstar features a full-length BOOST midsole. The BOOST can be seen on the sneaker’s medial arch.
adidas is taking the classic adidas superstar 80s and stripping it down leaving it only with the bare essentials.Taking the “Decon” look that has recently been spotted on the Air Jordan 2, this iteration of the adidas Superstar 80s comes constructed out of a one-piece leather on the upper for a clean aesthetic. Adding to the clean look of the sneaker is laser etching on the shell toe and the three stripes branding on the side panels. The two color options include Running White and Core Black with both of them being finished off with off-white rubber soles and brown detailing on the tongue branding and heel tab.
adidas superstar ii.The Rise of Sneaker Culture generated frantic curatorial discussions ahead of its opening at the Oakland Museum of California last week. The show features two pairs of New Balance sneakers, newly politicized in the wake of the brand’s public support in November of Donald Trump’s protectionist trade policies, which led a neo-Nazi blog to declare New Balance “the official shoes of white people.” Outraged customers responded by taking to social media to share photos and videos of New Balance sneakers in trash cans and toilets, or set aflame. The company quickly issued a statement saying that it “does not tolerate bigotry or hate in any form,” while also touting the brand’s made-in-the-USA credentials.
True to the classic aesthetics of the adidas superstar dames design, the release showcases the advancements of the sneaker model through a number of striking features. Equipped with a sock-fit Primeknit construction with premium suede overlays and the shoe’s signature shell-toe, adidas Originals proves once again why they are the innovators of the sneaker game. Dressed in a gray base palette that is highlighted by black contrast details including leather serrated 3-stripes, a branded woven heel-pull and embroidered Bape and Neighborhood branding, the shoes sit atop of a classic Superstar midsole with concealed Boost, revealed only by the sneakers signature window on the medial side.
The Nike Free Flyknit
Nike is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Free sole technology by introducing three new iterations: the nike free 3.0 flyknit, Nike Free 4.0 Flyknit, and Nike Free 5.0 Flyknit. We got our hands on one of them early: the Nike Free 4.0 Flyknit. Offering more cushioning than the Free 3.0 Flyknit, it’s got an ultra light upper and a low-profile sole which promotes natural movement and stability. The new sole introduces redesigned hexagonal flex grooves for mobility, with the added benefit of rolling the same way your feet do, and a new heel that offers a more natural foot strike.
Nike's approach is to offer three different running shoes as part of its Free range that is geared to three different running types. The first is the nike free rn flyknit which delivers some flexibility, but plenty of cushioning and support. The Free 4.0 Flyknit shoes take the cushioning down to a 6-millimeter offset and adds a Flyknit upper, while the Nike Free 3.0 Flyknit goes as minimal as it dares without you falling through the bottom of the sole.Determining which one you are is a fairly easy process and comes down to how much support and cushioning you are after. If it is lots then it is the 5.0 model you'll need, if it is none then you want the Free 3.0 Flyknit shoes instead.
Since its initial launch back in 2012 around the London Olympics, the Nike Flyknit has seen itself dressed up as a runner, a racer, and the highly coveted HTM with Lunar. However, it wasn't until recently, with the announcement of the nike free rn 2017, that Nike truly took the technology to the next level. What may at first glance appear to be just a hybrid silhouette is Nike offering a better version of the two. Sometimes one plus one is more than two.Nike Free has reigned as one of the most-loved sneakers in the training world since its original inspiration on the track field at Stanford. To this day, we see it in running, training, and even in golf shoes like the TW'14.
nike free run distance features innovative hexagonal flex grooves, a first for the industry, offering six points of flexibility to let your foot move naturally with every step. Nike designers, engineers and programmers were tasked with improving two hundred thousand years of evolution with state of the art footwear innovation. Let's just say, mission accomplished. The lightweight Flynight upper ensures a perfect fit by way of a sockliner cuff around the ankle. In addition, the shoe features the lowest-profile midsole of any Nike Free shoe enabling runners the thrill of running barefoot, without sacrificing support.
