Posted in the topic Is there a monthly fee for Google WIFI? in the forum Services
    March 2, 2020 11:10 PM EST

    Hello,
No, there is no fee to Google. Google WiFi is an in-home router+firewall + (mesh) WiFi solution that relies on your existing internet service for connectivity to the rest of the world. You'll still be paying your internet service provider each month.Google WiFi is a mesh router.
    Thanks.

Posted in the topic Is it bad to have a WiFi router in your bedroom? in the forum Off-Topic Discussions
    January 16, 2020 2:02 AM EST

    Hello,

In your case, the WiFi router is fairly close to your head, and you are exposed to this energy 8 hours a day. It should be easy to move that router further away from the bed. In summary, the energy from the WiFi router does have subtle but measurable effects on your body. Nobody knows whether these effects are harmful.

    Hello,
To use it, you'll have to connect it to a modem with an Ethernet cable. This can be a standalone modem or a modem+router combo provided by your ISP.If this is the case, you can plug the Google Wifi point directly into your wall's Ethernet jack.) Ethernet cable for the primary Wifi point .
    Thanks.
